The Olympic Challenge

Room 19 and Room 5 are working together on some of our Olympic Challenge tasks. The buddy students have been sharing their presentations and inquiry learning about the Olympics.

Students worked together to design a new Rio Olympic emblem and NZ Team uniform.

Room 19 & 24's - Junior Assembly

The Assembly theme is sharing our learning about 'Day and Night'.

It's Winter time, so we have been using descriptive language to write stories and poetry about the stormy weather.

Room 24 shared their learning about shadows and the rotation of the sun.

Room 19 learnt about Matariki, the Maori New Year. We made pictures illustrating Matariki, the seven sisters (stars) shining above Rangitoto.
